Compliance
Does my website need an Impressum
What 13x checks
This is rule compliance.impressum in the public registry: Impressum is linked and reachable. It runs on every audit, against the pages we actually fetched, and its result is derived from the response rather than estimated.

Registry version 2026-07-30. Every rule is published, and the audit is deterministic — the same page produces the same finding every time.
The fix
The same text the audit hands you when this check fails on your own site.
Publish an Impressum at /impressum and link it from your global footer. §5 DDG requires it to be reachable from every page with at most two clicks — a footer link satisfies that.
It must contain your real, complete details: legal name and, for a company, the legal form; a physical postal address (a PO box is not sufficient); an email address; the register court and number if you are registered; a VAT ID if you have one; and the person responsible for the content.
13x does not generate legal text. eRecht24 and IHK both publish free German Impressum generators. What this check verifies is that the page exists and loads.
